Both formats use transparent P15.625 LED with 65%+ transparency, IP65 rating and anti-salt-spray coating, mounted on a galvanised subframe. Specification based on a supplier quotation, October 2026.
On the water
An indicative 9.6 km loop at about 4 knots, with fairways and ferry lanes kept clear. Route and holds follow Marine Department instructions.
10:00-17:00
Loop sailing past West Kowloon, Tsim Sha Tsui and Hung Hom, then North Point, Wan Chai and Central. Promenades, harbour cruises and office towers at lunch.
17:00-19:00
Holds off West Kowloon and Central for sunset crowds and the evening commute.
19:00-22:00
Mid-harbour between Tsim Sha Tsui and Wan Chai, the classic skyline view, and off Hung Hom and Causeway Bay. Dark by 22:00.
At Typhoon Signal No. 3 or a Red or Black Rainstorm warning, AdBarge returns to shelter. Affected bookings are rescheduled or credited, never charged.
Screens switch off by 22:00 in line with the Charter on External Lighting. Content is checked for brightness, motion and claims before it plays, and nothing flashes towards shipping.
Naval-architect stability and wind-load design and an approved survey come before any build. Power comes from twin gensets with a backup.
